Last March, Yasemin Mursaloglu, founder of IGREK, reached out to us with a special idea: to bring back to life a silk scarf that had belonged to her mother for 49 years - a piece she had worn, loved, and kept all these years.

At IGREK, there is an appreciation for pieces that grow more meaningful with time. We feel the same way at SENSE THE PEBBLE. And, of course, we both share a particular love for scarves.

The idea immediately felt close to us. But it wasn’t only the story that drew us in - we genuinely fell in love with the original scarf itself: its colors and its pattern.

For one version, Olive, we stayed close to the original color palette of the scarf. 
For the second, Rust Orange, we reimagined it in a color Yasemin had always wanted to see it in.

And so, together, we created two wool scarves inspired by one much-loved silk scarf.

Made to be loved, and then loved again.
